A little help, so you can get back to work.
Choose your currency
Open Business settings in the iPhone app, or Account on the web, and select your currency. Set your local service rates. Existing quotes and visits keep their original currency; totals in different currencies are shown separately. Currency changes do not perform exchange-rate conversion. Prices should include any applicable local taxes.
Create your first quote
- Open Business settings and enter your business name, contact details and prices.
- On Today, choose Prepare a cleaning quote. Enter a customer and add at least one service.
- Check the quantity, price in your business currency and scope, then save.
- Open the saved quote and choose Share PDF quote or Share quote.
- Mark it Sent after sending. Update its status when the customer replies.
How do prices and taxes work?
Amounts use the currency selected for each quote. Use a period for cents, such as 120.50. Correctly grouped commas are supported, such as 1,200.00. Include applicable taxes in your final prices. TidyQuote does not calculate GST separately and its quotes are not tax invoices.
Why didn’t my reminder appear?
Enable notifications for TidyQuote in iPhone Settings and choose a future time. Check Focus and notification settings. Reminders are for you, never your customers. Accepting or declining a quote cancels its pending reminder.
Where are my quotes stored?
Quotes are saved inside the app on your iPhone. Device backups may include this data. Connecting an account enables cloud sync and a web dashboard. Use Account to export a full copy of your records. Deleting the app removes its local data; save important PDFs first.
Does sharing send automatically?
No. You choose an app and complete sending there. TidyQuote does not track delivery or customer acceptance. Update quote status manually.
What if saving fails?
Keep the editor open and retry after checking available device storage. If existing data cannot be read, the app disables saving to protect it. Do not delete the app as a troubleshooting step if you need its saved quotes.
Plan and run a clean
Use Build cleaning estimate to choose rooms, clean type and extras. Review the suggested labour time, enter your own rates and costs, then apply the estimate. Starting values are examples. Cost estimates and private notes stay out of the customer PDF.
After your customer agrees, mark the quote Accepted and choose Book this clean. Set the date, on-site duration and repeat interval. The app warns about overlapping visits. Open Jobs or Today to start a clean, tick tasks, record actual labour and complete the visit. Payment received is a manual record; it does not collect money.
For repeat work, choose Book next visit after completion. Each visit is confirmed separately; missed dates are skipped to the next future occurrence. Bookings do not create calendar events or visit notifications. Clients keeps quote and visit history together and lets you reuse the last scope.
Accounts and syncing
On iPhone, open Account → Connect account. Open sign-in, choose Google, Apple or email when available, and approve your phone using its six-digit code. Return to the app and check approval. Choose Open cloud records, or Upload this phone’s records for a new empty account. Uploading never silently replaces an existing account’s database.
Phone changes sync while the app is open. Tap Sync now after coming back online or after editing the website. On the website, choose Save changes before leaving. If both copies changed, export the phone or browser copy before loading the cloud version. Keep the export until you have checked all records.
Email sign-in uses a secure link, or an existing account password. Open the link in the same browser where you requested it. Always use the same account on all devices. Apple Hide My Email may create a separate account from your Google email.
Contact support
Include your iPhone model, iOS version, TidyQuote version and the steps that caused the problem. Do not send passwords, payment information or customer details unless necessary; redact screenshots first.
